Back to top Amphibian and reptile training courses in partnership with the Field Studies Council Training courses with the Field Studies Council vary from introductory-level training, covering general amphibian and reptile survey techniques, that are open to all, including beginners, to more specialist courses that address specific species, such as natterjack toads, or more advanced techniques including reptile survey techniques, and the well-regarded great crested newt licensing and mitigation course, which provides invaluable specialist training for professional ecologists.
